Hi,
I'm new to this list, but I don't yet own any OM equipment.
Just a bit about myself: I'm 22, I use MF Nikons, I live in Central
NY(moving to Brooklyn soon) and love architechtural & urban/suburban
landscape photography.
Im thinking of picking up an OM-2s to start out with. Is there anything,
good or bad, to look for in this camera? Eventually I'd like an Om-4t.
For lenses I like to work with only one or two at a time. I only own 4 Nikon
lenses, but I've been through alot of them.
The lenses Im looking at are:
21/2 or 21/3.5? Which one do you guys like and why? I kinda want the f2. I
do alot of low/fading light shooting handheld.
35/2--this is my favorite FL-used 800f the time.Any comment on it would be
welcome.
90/2macro--how is it at middle distances? I ued to use a Nikkor 55 micro but
the working distance is so short. This like a 3-in-1, fast/portrait/macro.
If you could point me to a lens test site, that would help, but I value
expirienced advice, and other qualities of lenses besides lpmm.
I hope this was not too long and too many questions. I have more but
I will save them for another day.
Thanks in advance,
Mike Harrington
