Thanks to all who visited my web site and for the kind comments.
I have two OM questions,
1) I recently purchased a used OM2sp. It works just fine in terms of
exposure, but the shutter speed indicator in the viewfinder is way off. It
seems to indicate a shutter speed that is several stops too slow(often
1/2 -1/15 second when I know that it should be 1/60 or more), but the actual
speed when I click the shutter is apparently accurate since the exposures
are dead on when I process the slides. PLEASE tell me this is not a fatal
and unfixable board defect!!!! The camera works great, but I never really
know what my real shutter speed is unless I have another body near by to
meter with.
2) I need to make 35mm slides of 6x7 transparencies to fit in my scanner. I
do not have any OM extension tubes or bellows, but do have a 50mm 1.4, 28mm
2.8 and 100mm 2.8 OM lenses. My question is what extension tube(s) and what
lens should I use to create 35mm slides from the 6x7 transparencies? I plan
to mount the setup on a tripod and shoot using the light from my light table
shining through the 6x7 slides.
Thanks!
