Tonight, I watched two installments of a TNT network documentary on Pulitzer
Priz winning photographers. All of the modern (1964 and later [Ruby shooting
Oswald]) cameras pictured were shown clearly enough to read the label and
were, surprise! N*k*ns. That is likely because most photojournalists from
the early 60s to the late 80s used that brand. I checked the credits to see
if N*k*n was part of the production - no; and no N*k*n commercials were
shown. So maybe it was just the way things were. Still, I wonder: were any
Puliters won shooting OMs? Anybody know? At one time UPI supplied OM-1s to
their shooters and I once dated a photojournalist who shot an OM-1 (Long
ago). Acersnapper or someone with the time could probably research this. I
have to go to work ;-(
