: On 1.25x, I can easily focus the VM on the focusing screen. When I switch to
: 2.5x, it is way out of focus, and in fact there is not range enough in the
: VM focusing barrel to bring the screen into focus. The only way to use 2.5x
: is to change the OM4's diopter correction from where I normally keep it (I'm
: mildly near-sighted).
This is normal behaviour. The VMF 2.5x magnification works only when the OM-3/4
diopter is set at the same value as the OM-1/2 (-0.5) and you must then use the
VMF diopter to correct for your eyes.
