Well, I've finally done it!
Our first ADITL pictorial essay is on-line at last. And there is an
eclectic selection of some fine work, if I do say myself.

**** I'd like to start commentary b7 saying I particularly like images #

BTW: images are numbered in rows, starting from top left = #1. So row 1
has images 1, 2, 3. Row 2 has 4, 5, 6 etc. Perhaps I should put
numbers under images. I probably will, no need to suggest it then.
If other Oly sites want to link to it, that's great. If anyone does,
please let me know so I can create a link back to your site.
Disclaimers:
* Firstly, I regret that there is yet no provision to comment or vote
other than on the list. I think this is actually the right thing at
first, though. When the Unofficial Gallery went on line, there were
many messages on the list about it. I don't think it will be too much
of a problem as long as "ADITL" is in the title, those who want to
ignore, can.
* If anyone has or can point me to some cgi-bin code that'll help
accomplish keeping commentary localized to the site (eg read input
comments and output them to an html page or something like this) I'll be
glad to use or modify it for us **in my spare time**. I may check out
the voting page we know so well if we decide to have a vote, which I
still support. However, of I use that S/W, I'll have to figure out how
to be sure that Tom Trottier votes only once! :>)
* Images are 640 x 480, unless the original sent to me was smaller than
that.
* I tried to keep the photographers' anonymous at first. This I did to
allow time for folks to comment on photos, if desired. One person in
particular desires comments. I don't think I received any notice from
anyone who specifically does **not** want comments. If I am mistaken,
please let me know ASAP off-list.
* If you sent me an image and it isn't on the site, let me know off-list
ASAP.
* In a week or two, or when popular demand insists, I will post the
names of the artists to their image.html page.
* I expect that not everyone will agree with everything I've done. So be
it. Still constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome, on or
off-list, your call.
