Gary,
I too, am guilty of this nettiqutte violation. However, I don't feel
the problem was caused by us long time list members. This person barged in,
didn't get a "feel" for us first, didn't do any research in the archives,
then told us all off. Yes, I posted his e-mail, an e-mail which taunted and
repeatedly insulted me. Not exactly nettiquette there, was there? If he had
the brain of a gerbil, he could easily see my full name, address and even
telephone number, as I'm sure everyone realizes. I'd also like to hear from
the number of supporters he claims to have heard from. If Weiss is so worthy
of your support, could you please explain it to me? I'll keep an open mind on
that part of it, but not the insults directed at me. I know I've heard from
one person who had what seems a personal disagreement with John H. in the
past, and I answered that person back. But that is one matter between two
people, NOT, IMO, a reason to support this lunatic. That is, unless Weiss and
this other person are one and the same. That's enough hints I'll give on that
theory, in case it's wrong. Either way, I'm here and he's in WI, so
nettiquette is the only violation possible, or else I'd be tempted to choke
the living sh*t out of him, but being the sh*t stirrer that he is, that line
will probably make him smile.
Gary, I'm sorry to seem to address this to you, I know you're trying
to put us back on track, and steer us away from a possible appearance on
Jerry Springer, and I realize you are right, and I'm truly sorry for posting
this one, but I just had to to defend myself.
Best to all,
George S.
