I'm sure you are right about the Super-FP mode on the IS-3. Being in the US, I
don't have direct experience since it's not available on the IS-3 here. I only
know what I thought I knew based on info from the list. Sorry if I confused
anyone.
As for auto-zooming flash, perhaps the difference is semantics here. When you
zoom the lens while the G-40 is attached and turned on, you will hear the flash
'zoom' along with the lens. I do not know for sure there are more than 2
distinct 'zoom' settings for the flash.
I never test the flash. If the ready light is on, that's good enuf for me. Has
never failed to fore if ready lite is on.
