Yes, contrary to the IS-3 and IS-3000 the new IS-30 and IS-300 appears to be
identical cameras. You can compare yourself if you want to. IS-30 info at

Olympus Japan http://www.olympus.co.jp/LineUp/Camera/Lsrs/is300E.html
The only difference I've found so far seem to be that IS-300 is not marketed
with the two optional C-160 and C-210 conversion lenses (which IS-30 seem to
be).
