I see no reason why such a forum can't be here. Photography is the process
of applying one's skills, vision, tools and passion to produce an image that
hopefully stirs a response in the viewer. Just because the tool in this
case is a digital camera, so what? I feel no sacrilege when I take pictures
with a Leica or Rollie or Mamiya. I'll certainly not feel like a sinner
when my recently purchased view camera arrives and I struggle up that
learning curve. :) And when I scan film to produce digital files I feel no
twinge of guilt or remorse. Tis an honest means to an honorable end.
This group is Olympus loyalists, itself an honorable pursuit. We discuss
the old rangefinders, the ZLR's and P&S breeds of Olympus all the time. Why
not the digital pedigree? Bring it on and we'll all learn more.
