Acer,
You should read the FAQ on this. A Winder 1 will provide single
advance ie 1 press of shutter button equals 1 frame. Winder 2 has this
and up to 2.5 frames per second in a mode termed sequence. The motor
drives 1 and 2 can provide up to 5 frames per second in addition to
single advance. Operative word is "can" on some OM bodies (2s at
least), these are somewhat limited in certain exposure modes. And of
course, all auto exposures that require longer times for proper exposure
of film.
In other words, different nomenclature because they are different
animals, as is proper and customary.
