I find that if I am handholding, especially with a longish lens, the
microprism is easier to focus with. I'm shaky enough to make the microprisms
"shimmer" quite a bit. Otherwise I use the split. Maybe I should be keeping
some caffeine pills in my camera bag to improve my focusing.
