The OM systems is one of the most complete and comprehensive photographic
systems ever developed! Of course Olympus offered a miroscope adapter for
the OM system. And of course they are hard to find and expensive once
located <g>.
Seriously, Oly had several microscope adapters. I'm sure Frank vL can
provide exact specifics if needed. The real key to what microscope are you
adapting to? For mine, a modest no-name high school grade instrument, I
found a generic adapter with T-threads on the camera end. It fits down into
the primary tube just like an eyepiece. Works ok, wish I had one I knew was
a 1000roper fit. Check Edmund Scientific. They appear on a well known
online auction that crashes regularly once in a while too. For as much as I
use it, I'm not gonna worry. At best it's an occasional amusement for the
kids.
