Expousing ones opinion can have negative side effects. Sorry about that.
Gary S. has had some nice things to say about Soligor's. I don't have
recollections of good test reports in the American photography magazines of
the 1970s and 1980s, but my memories are too faded.
I'd be willing to test your Soligor's if they don't sell. Or I'll test them
and then trans-ship them to your buyers.
On a different topic. I picked up my first OM2000 today. I was pleased to
discover mirror AND aperture prefire AND a variable delay self timer,
allowing for about a 2 sec. delay minimum. Now that beats a OM-4T. Wow,
this is the camera for critical sharpness landscape work and outdoor macro
flash fill work using manual flash. I'll probably even try duplicating yet
another unbraced 200mm f/4 MC lens test with it, just to see if the vertical
shutter travel is superior to the OM-4 horizontal travel.
