Here are my two bits.
My son aged ten won a paper carrier competition for the Calgary Herald and
got an all expenses paid trip to Disney World in Florida during which time
he saw the lift off of a space shuttle. He took some great shots on his trip
on a point and shoot camera. Unfortunately the x-ray scanning machinery at
Miami airport was more than strong enough to have fogged a great many of his
photos.
Take special precautions to avoid getting the exposed but undeveloped films
zapped in airport scanners !
