No no, I wouldn't stick a flash in anyone's eyes by itself--maybe use the
modelling lights to clear up the shadows if I used a ring flash in the
first place. Somehow, that would be pushing it, though--it's hard enough
to get someone to sit still w/o blinking or watering when you stick a
bazooka to their face
