I hope you're kidding about just shortin the main cap out. It will cause
quite a bang and you might heard yourself reacting to it. Short out main
cap with a LARGE 500 ohm resistor. There are also 5 or 6 places on the main
circuit to discharge as some areas will be holding up to 200V.
