I can't see all ads, but the the prices are recent and real by major
US dealers. Some may be out of line with other's prices (the $70 2X-A,
for example), but that's what they advertised. For lenses with a thin
market (250 or 1000), I have to stretch the "recent" criterion a bit,
but it's still within about a year.
I can't really do much with ebay. It is probably greater in volume than
all dealers now, and certainly a more efficient market in economics terms
(though one may not like the results). For one thing, several persons'
habit of placing a lowball bid on just about anything Olympus prevents
any really low sales prices from occuring. I've seen too much badly
misdescribed equipment to use ebay's prices.
