Agreed - you can't load all the scanning work on one person. I am prepared
to do some scanning for anyone who needs it around my area (Melbourne,
Australia) if they are interested.

This brings up an interesting point - what is the difference between
manipulating the image before it is scanned (filters on camera, chemical
processes, etc.) compared with manipulating it (digitally) after ?
