: I remember a post from a few weeks back where you were threatening to de-O
: the OM-1. Thought you could get away with it, eh?
I don't want to put any oil on the fire or intervene in the Schloss<->Norton
e-barbs, but I'm currently looking at a picture in the Dutch Camera Magazine
3/95 that clearly shows an M-System lens that has been 'retouched'.
And I don't mean the picture, but the lens: the 'M-' part has been blackened
or darkened or scratched (? it's a B&W picture) so that it reads 'OLYMPUS
SYSTEM F.ZUIKO' (it's a 50/1.8 - what else?). This is probably the way
Olympus sold the M lenses after the argument with Leica?
Hint, hint, twinkle, twinkle: want to sell a 'rare' lenses on e-Bay and get
rich? Black paint and 50/1.8's are cheap.
