I'm not so sure. I find the 35 & 50 my most indispensable lenses, I
probably take over 900f my photos with these two (landscape, townscape,
people, close-up). The 24mm rarely ventures from the bag, I'm still trying
to get used to visualising such a wide view. 35mms are dead cheap, and I'd
suggest it's a 'wide standard' - gives a bit more than the 50mm without
looking exaggerated. Either way, no-one can decide for you, you've got to
take the plunge based on how much wider you want to go. I'd suggest you get
both 35 & 24 if you can, but if you buy them one at a time, it's more fun ;-)
