Yup. T-adaptor will do it. That'll give you OM mount on one side, the
proper threads on the other. Threads will attach directly to many
t-scopes notablt the Schmidt-Cassegrains like the Meades and Celetrons.
If he's got say a NEwtonian with a slip-in type eyepiece adaptor, he'll
need a threaded attachment to go from t-mount to slip in. Hope he's
ready for some challenges if he's going to do astro-photo!
