I purchased my OM2000 with a 35-70mm lens attached in late 1997. I think it was
early December or late November. Since then my OM2000 (without the 35-70mm lens
which came with it) traveled twice to Japan and once to Scotland. Its lightness
was the major reason for its accompaniment with me when I lugged my laptop to
Japan. I also like the way I can hold it in my hands, in fact the hand-holding
characteristics of the OM2000 is superior to that of the (O)M-1 or the OM-4(T)s
(Note that I have an M-1 instead of the OM-1, have both kinds of 4's). The
OM2000 has spot metering and its multiple exposure procedure is painless.
If I am to do it over again, I would get a body-only version.
