Some alternative suggestions:
1. Have the lens contributor pay something for the testing since he
gets an accurate reading on his/her own lenses. I guess they do pay the
postage 1 or 2 ways?
2. Publish the testing procedure & have each person replicate the
tests.
2a - Each person checks & rates slides.
2b - Gary checks & rates slides.
As a control, a test could be made of a known lens by the new tester.
