But when you have the camera with you the birds all hide! I've been down to
the lake nearby with my camera many times. Never see much. A
yellow-crowned night heron waited until I came without a camera to put on a
fishing demonstration. Caught a nice five-incher which he proceeded to
juggle in his bill until he could swallow it head first!
