Wow, if only money would grow on trees (or my boss would pay me well enough
;) ).
I think actually one kit has not been discussed and even though it may sound
uninteresting, I think many people (like me) are on a much tighter budget
than some of the other list members. Therefore, I would like to mention a
versatile system which may not give the best quality, but which still will
more than satisfy the every day user who isn't a professional photographer.
I would choose:
-OM-4T(i) -> multi spot metering and other cool
gadgets
-Zuiko 35/70 F3.6 -> (my) most often used range covered in a light and
sharp zoom
-Zuiko 65/200 F4 -> an excellent (and very sharp) complement to the
35/70
-Zuiko 24 F2.8 -> light and sharp wide angle for when the 35 in the
35/70 doesn't suffice
Not too expensive a system, yet very versatile. If money even in the above
case would still be an issue, the 4Ti could easily be replaced by a regular
4 or 2S (no multi spot metering, though).
Also, the 35/70 F4 and the 28 F2.8 could be chosen as cheaper alternatives
for the 35/70 F3.6 resp. 24 F2.8.
Just my 2 cents....
Cheers!
Olaf
