Maybe someone can help. I bought a Polaris flash meter recently and decided
to check out the accuracy of my Olympus T 32. Placing the flash meter with
incident cone in place at the subject position the T32 was a whole 2 stops
off, on all auto settings. In manual mode calculating the required aperature
from the GN, everything was spot on. However, taking the flash meter to the
camera position and switching to incident mode the auto settings were only
about 1/2 to 1 stop out. All tests done indoors. Am I doing anything wrong
with my metering technique or is my poor old T 32 in need of a service?
