The worse fungus growt I saw was of some LF lenses closed in an air-tight
(Sinar) case. It occurred on MF lenses closed in cylindric cases too.
Everytime an air-tight case becomes colder than when it was closed the risk
of condensation of water on metal and glass surfaces is real.
If you have a case of this kind you should keep it unlocked in order to let
air pass. Lock it only when going out, that is when you actually use it.
