One more note about Camera World of Oregon - I placed an order with them
last week. I was very pleased with their service. When I placed the
order they clearly told me what was in stock and what was back-ordered.
I chose to only get what was in stock, and it all arrived in about 4
days.
One of the items I got was a Velbon Chaser EL-3 tripod. I am very
happy with it. The legs seem very sturdy and it came with a simple
all-metal pan head. I'd say it compares well with a low-end Manfrotto
w/ head, and cost less.
