Although I haven't tried it, I believe "not recommended" is not strong
enough. "Physically incompatible" is probably closer. The Olympus 2X-A
teleconverter has limited internal clearance, and any lens with a
rear-element protection tab simply will not mount on the converter without
modification.
I sold my 75-150, but as I recall, it had a protruding rear-element
protection tab.
