As usual, I completely agree with everything you say. The original context was
that
someone mentioned an intention to purchase a 24mm f2 - then there were a couple
of
posts indicating this lens had a bad reputation.
As this 'bad' reputation was not supported by my recollection of previous
posts, or
the test data, I thought I would play devils advocate a bit and try and
correct the
direction of drift in the reputation of this lens.
