Thanks Gary,
It is very helpful to know that all 24/2s are multi-coated.
As far as the lens being soft wide open and the problem with vignetting,
I can put up with this if the lens still performs well stopped down.
After all I've found that the extra stop can be quite handy and that in
these low-light situations I can live with a small degree of vignette.
I look forward to the new tests.
