The XA lens is also less sharp at the edges. Again, this is especially
noticeable when projecting slides.
My OM lens kit was assembled over a period of 25 years. Being a speed freak, I
always went for the faster lenses. This was a good choice (for me), because a
fast fixed-focal-length lens gives you something you can't get from a zoom lens
-- at least one extra stop of speed. A slightly soft image might be preferable
to a slightly blurred one.
