Well, you didn't put "OT" in the topic, and there was no Olympus content,
so one way of looking at it is you're more out of line than what you
complain about!
Personally, I know how to ignore stuff I'm not interested in, including
many things that George is interested in. No big deal. We survived long
discussions on guns and cars (I believe "ClassicVW" was involved in the
latter), and someone's joy at discovering eBay (as well as their inevitable
disgruntle in a few months :-) bothers me not one bit.
BTW: I've been looking for a Focusing Stage at a decent used price for
months. OlympusGuy has one new for $72, but it's not the sort of thing that
shows up used. Lo and behold, eBay comes through for me with one at $51 --
including a rail! If you watch long enough, the entire world will pass
before your eyes...
>Am I being grouchy...
Yes, but go fondle your Olympus gear (obligatory on-topic content :-) and
get back to us when you're feeling better. And if it has to do with guns or
cars, I'll just ignore it.
BTW: getting the list in digest format goes a long way toward eliminating
the perceived nuiscance of off-topic postings. Unless you have a direct
Internet feed and are such a Zuikoholic that you can't stand a delay in a
single message (well, the ones you WANT to see :-), it's highly recommended
for curing off-topic grouciness.
