If you take a spot at with the aperture set at f3.5 (35mm) and change the
zoom setting, the exposure could be off by as much as 1 stop (70mm f4.5)
and vice versa.
The instructions that come with the lens state the apertures for the marked
zoom settings are:
35mm f3.5
50mm f4.0
70mm f4.5
