I picked up one of these devices a few months ago (but mines basically
unbranded). I have found that it doesn't focus at all on my 50mm f1.8, but
does on the 50mm f3.5 macro where the "distance" on the macro is ~0.4 m. I
have found that it does focus on my 35mm f2.8 Zuiko, 24mm f2.8 Zuiko and
28mm f2.8 Tokina. If you really want to use it on the 35-70, you could
probably try a short extension tube.
The one I have is not exactly sharp when it is focussed and I can't really
see myself using it much because of this. Hope yours is better quality.
