Hi Paul,

I have several Wallace Expo disks in various sizes. I have more of an
*intention* to use them than I *do* actually use them. They do seem to
work well at turning your in camera meter into an incident light meter.
Other routines for calibrating the meter and setting ASA and that sort of
thing I have yet to put into practice. In Hawaii recently (where the sun
was high enough in the sky to do this at noon!) I put the disk on my
various OM-1's and checked the meter. Using Sunny 16 rules, you are
supposed to be able to see how accurate your meter is. One bod was right
on, two others were a little under. I mainly disregarded because I was
shooting print film with these bods, but I plan to evaluate this further
with slide film.

If you wish to flash individual frames of slide film, the disk works well
for that. Set your shot, determine your meter reading, then put the disk on
and close down about three stops and shoot. Do the double-exposure winding
routine and then shoot your pic normally.

Hope this helps.
