...and if you do, you can cut a screw of suitable size to the proper length
(without the head) to replace it...of the 3 XAs I've acquired, two have been
missing the bearing. That little bit is important to hold the cover fully
open against the shutter enable switch; if it's not there, your XA will be
hard to make work consistently.
