Changing the screens on your OM-1 is an easy task. If you remove the lens
and
look at the top front just inside th elens mount there is a little tab.

Frank, I don't think Paul meant to say "Pull the tab OUT" towards the lens
opening. You should actually press or pull the little tab "UP" towards the
top of the prism.
I almost bent the little tab out of shape once many years ago.

when I remove a screen on any of my OM's, I remove the lens, and using the
"handle" end of little tweezer tool that comes with the new screen, I gently
pull *forward* on the tab (towards the lens mount). This is my interpretation
of the instructions supplied with the screen. I never tried pushing up towards
the prism, but that might work, too (I'll check tonight).
