Yes, John you are correct. Most of the alkaline versions I see have the "A"
suffix. I don't pay particular attention to the suffix, the package usually
clearly states the voltage and whether it is mercury or alkaline.
As I said, I recently found some mercury cells so I will have the correct
voltage for a while.
