The results on the Tamron 4/400 are very exciting. I was offeres the lens
with 1.4 converter in Minneapolis a few years ago, but $1200 seemed a lot
then.
I would really like to know how the current 5.6/400 Novoflex follow focus
would compete against the Tamron. At 5.6 the Tamron may be slightly
superior, but I bet at F 8 or F 11 you can't tell the difference. Here is
a table of other data important to field users:
