Roughly equivalent to the 90/2, except a stop slower, is the 100 2.8 macro.
I don't own one but have generally heard it is the only macro in that
length up to Oly standards...New, a bit under $2000. Used, I've seen them
around $1400.
In the 180, there's a 2.8, which runs around $900 used, or a 200/2, which
sells new for the bargain price of $7500(!)
If you vant to buy ze German glass, you must pay ze price. Consider ze
alternative.. two thousand dollars for a Leica 50 1.4 that's not even as
good as the Zeiss!
