Addendum to Denton's excellent advice: If you're shooting an interior
panorama (or other closeup subject), a 28mm lens is too short---the
"cylindrical distortion" (or whatever it's called) is too extreme and
the edges don't line up.

Indoors, you need to either use a 50mm lens, or overlap the pictures
by a large margin.

(I discovered this the hard way a few weeks ago)
