I have just done this, so that I could take synchronized stereo
images. I just wired up 2 cables to a single switch in parallel. Isolation
doesn't seem to be required, I even had both winders bolted to a common
aluminium rail. I have just picked up the first pair of films and there was
absolutely no problems, both winders fired every time and a few shots
containing moving cars look well synchronized (if there not, it looks pretty
obvious when viewing in stereo).

By the way, I was using a Winder I and a Winder II.
