Olympians,
I finally uploaded an image of my M-1 to my Web site. Since I cannot find those
e-mails from those of you who contributed to this topic, I have to go by my
memories.
Since I don't remember who said what, I'm afraid that I have to summarize
without the names of the contributors.
This is apparently a macro project, and the 50mm/3.5 macro and 135mm/? macro
were suggested. Somebody else suggested that it could be done by a scanner.
I have a scanner book which says a three-dimensional object can be scanned.
Without owning any macro lenses, I resorted to this technique. The trick was to
come up with the right colored background. The black was too dark for my M-1.
I ended up using two plastic lids of rectangular containers of my camera and
other things. These are in blue. After fiddling with different angles, I got
an image acceptable for the Web presentation.
Here it is.

I have also revamping my home page and I have added more photographs in my
reflection gallery.
Thanks for your suggestions, in particular to someone who suggested the scanner
approach
Thanks.
