I guess I'd summarize 2x t/c's as I've never met one I liked. Especially
off-brand; I've had two, Vivitar and Tokina. For me, the contrast has been
severely lacking. Focus is much more difficult and overall sharpness is
noticiably lower than the same focal length without a t/c. For "on the
cheap" they work, and I keep mine around just because I'm a packrat. As for
the 1.4X-A t/c - now there's a sweetie of a lens attachment :-}
