If you stick to *only* Zuiko lenses you will always get the same kind of
color rendition on your slides (if you do slides). On negatives, prints, the
color may vary from lab to lab and from process to process.

Like Foxy I don't have but would like to have the 1.4x TC, so how the
300/4.5 does together with the TC I cannot tell, except that several list
members says it is a great combination.
As for the 300/4.5 I can tell it is a really great lens. (The one I have is
single coated.)
The 300/4.5 feels great to hold, it looks great, it gives good pictures and
over all it gives a quality impression! In other words: it is a Zuiko!
