Hi all !!
I too went the path of Rangefinders,TLR&SLR .
The First CAMERA was a LEICA M3 with a set of lenses and a LUNASIX.
Great Little camera, a pain to load film and meter. Also never could do
closeups or see the filter effects or DEPTH OF FIELD.
Graduated to a NIKKORMAT FTn and later a NIKON F2.
Being a left eye use, 'Got badly poked in the eye'. NIKON was definitelu out
for me.
Found an OLYMPUS OM-2 and it was pure"NIRVANA".
NOW currently on the OM 4T and am very happy with the SLR,
except the feeling to go up to the MEDIUM FORMAT.
VERDICT: LEICA are GOOD collector cameras, OLYMPUS is serious working
PHOTOGRAPHY.
Sunil.
