John,
How funny -- I had that exact thing happen to my T-20 about 5 years ago. After
determining that cursing and angry looks weren't going to persuade the thing to
work, I ended up giving it to my daughter who LOVES to play with Daddy's photo
stuff, which she's normally not allowed to touch. After about two weeks, she
blinded me with a correctly working T-20 (batteries apparently supplied by her
older sister). My theory is that the banging and jolting that is the part of
every 3 yr old's life fixed whatever was wrong.
I'd be happy to see what her schedule & turnaround time is... Or you might try
the wince-and-bang-it-firmly-into-your-palm approach. Above-mentioned T-20
works to this day, though said daughter is still pissed that I took it back...
Rgds,
Dave

Subject: [OM] Broken T-20 flash
Hi John. My T-20 flash seems to have stopped working. It's not the shoe,
a Vivitar flash works on it. I even tried to flash it with a paper clip
from the bottom middle contact to the side contacts. It charges up fine,
shows a charge in the viewfinder, but just wont flash. Wondered if you
have any ideas, and if I need to send it in or not. Thanks, John
Gaasland.
