Depends on what exactly you mean by "digital". In the sense that the
bargraph reads in discrete steps as opposed to the continuous movement of a
meter needle then yes, it is indeed digital. You can *count* the segments.
But to most people "digital" means "numerical".
Now then, what about a good old-fashioned clockwork timepiece, with hands
and a dial. Because of the escapement mechanism, the hands move in
discrete steps which you can count. Does that make it digital, or analogue?
Better keep this one off list ;-)
