seems like you should have handled it a bit more in the shop first, but
anyway.... everyone's entitled to their opinions
btw... pretty much every battery operated device with instructions I've ever
seen has recommended taking the batteries out if it's not going to be used
for a while; anyway, if you had the 4Ti circuit in there, my understanding
is that drain should have been even less of a problem
